Using the WTO Gear Hobbing Unit it is possible to efficiently manufacture gears in different geometries and sizes with a turning center. This enables highly productive complete machining of turned parts with gears.

A hobbing machine will no longer be required for gears up to quality standard AGMA 8 (ISO 1328 Class 8). The high runout accuracy of the WTO Gear Hobbing Unit guarantees a high surface quality.
